Qatar has brokered a provisional deal to supply Gaza with gas from Israel’s Leviathan field.
The EU, which alongside Qatar has provided a financial lifeline to Hamas-controlled Gaza in recent years, has pledged to supply $5mn towards the cost of the project whilst Qatar will pay for requisite new infrastructure within Israel. (CONTINUED - 775 WORDS)
