Latest data from Iraq’s state oil marketer Somo show Iraq’s federally controlled exports hit 2.960 mn b/d for February, up 92,000 b/d on January and the highest figure since May 2020 (see chart 1).
And with Iraq’s average export crude price hitting $60/B for the first time since Covid-19 struck in early 2020, the country’s export revenues hit $5bn for the first time since January last year.
