London-listed minnow Chariot (75%op) and its partner Moroccan state oil & gas firm ONHYM (25%) on 12 December announced that they had “agreed key principles for long term gas sales from the Anchois Gas Project” with Moroccan state generator ONEE.
The deal would see delivery of 0.6bcm/y (around 60mn cfd) to the nearby 384MW Tahaddart CCGT power plant “on a take or pay basis for a minimum of 10 years with gas to be delivered via the Maghreb-Europe Gas Pipeline,” which is known by its French initials GME. (CONTINUED - 370 WORDS)
