Italy’s Eni, operator of Cyprus’ offshore Block 6, and 50:50 partner TotalEnergies on 21 December announced the block’s third gas discovery.
The Zeus-1 well, which spudded in September, “encountered 105 meters of net gas pay in a carbonate reservoir sequence. The gas in place associated to this reservoir is preliminarily estimated between 2 and 3 TCF,” Eni says. (CONTINUED - 735 WORDS)
