Saudi Aramco’s trading arm ATC has signed an agreement to supply a planned refinery at Egypt’s Red Sea industrial hub of Ain Sukhna with 100,000 b/d of crude oil. The non-binding agreement was signed on 15 February during the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS).
The agreement is between ATC and Egypt’s Red Sea National Petrochemicals Company (Red Sea Co.), and will see ATC supply the planned greenfield refinery with Saudi crude. The agreement also has a provision for offtake of refined and petrochemical products. (CONTINUED - 888 WORDS)
