Algeria is making a small step towards the LNG big league with ongoing upgrades at its Skikda export terminal set to further extend the North African gas giant’s reach beyond its traditional market of Europe.
State oil and gas firm Sonatrach says work to expand Skikda’s loading capacity is “close to” 80% complete. Upon completion Skikda will be able to load LNG tankers of up to 220,000m³ from a new jetty. (CONTINUED - 1122 WORDS)
