The Oman LNG partners (Oman Investment Authority 51%, Shell 30%, TotalEnergies 5.54%, Korea LNG 5%, Thailand’s PTT 2% and a trio of Japanese firms 6.46%) last week signed a new shareholder agreement extending their stakes by 10 years to 2034.
On top of its large shareholding, Shell is also the largest offtaker of LNG from the Omani firm, having signed a second supply agreement in August totalling 1.6mn t/y for ten years from 2025 (MEES, 1 September). (CONTINUED - 100 WORDS)
