Abu Dhabi requires the construction of an additional 3GW of solar PV plants by 2029 according to state-offtaker Ewec. The recommendation in Ewec’s outlook to 2029 is based on robust power demand growth over the forecast period, with peak load projected to increase from 16.39GW last year to 21.6GW by 2029.
