Infinity Power, a JV of Egypt renewables developer Infinity and Abu Dhabi state renewables firm Masdar on 20 March announced it had completed the purchase of Netherlands-based Lekela Power.
Lekela operates 1GW of African wind projects: 624MW in South Africa, 160MW in Senegal and the 250MW West Bakr wind farm on Egypt’s Red Sea which began operations in late 2021 (MEES, 10 March). (CONTINUED - 292 WORDS)
