With its key 2.6tcf Karish project offshore Israel ramping up (MEES, 26 May), London listed Greek firm Energean says it has decided to tie back its ‘Olympus Area’ gas finds, located on Block 12, to its Energean Power FPSO, moored 5km from the Karish main field (MEES, 20 January).
The drilling of the Block 12 Zeus and Athena prospects last year, which yielded modest discoveries of 13bcm (0.47tcf) and 12bcm (0.41tcf) respectively, de-risked a further 42 bcm (1.5tcf) of prospective resources across the Olympus area, according to Energean. (CONTINUED - 410 WORDS)
