Algerian state oil and gas giant Sonatrach has begun commercial output at three key fields that make up Phase-2 of the country’s southwest gas project (SWGP Ph-2).
Speaking on a 6 September visit to the processing facilities, Sonatrach CEO Toufik Hakkar said that Hassi Ba Hamou, the largest of the three fields, “entered service on 15 August alongside other projects in the southwest, notably Hassi Tidjerane and Tinerkouk”.
