Whilst Egypt’s gas output is set to continue 2023’s decline in 2024 (MEES, 5 January), the outlook for the country’s oil production looks more positive.
Output averaged 577,000 b/d for the first 11 months of 2023, up, albeit fractionally, on 2022’s 575,000 b/d, though still 16% below the peak annual figure of 686,000 b/d hit in 2015, a level that is unlikely to ever be regained. (CONTINUED - 382 WORDS)
