In a step towards its planned 1mn t/y Marsa LNG bunkering project in Sohar Oman, TotalEnergies has chartered an LNG bunkering vessel from Spanish shipowner Ibaizabal.
The 18,600m3-capacity ship “might be deployed in Oman” for the Marsa LNG project says Total. It will join the company’s global fleet of three existing LNG bunker vessels: “Gas Agility” positioned in Rotterdam, “Gas Vitality” operating in Marseille, and “Brassavola” located in Singapore.
