Libya is preparing to launch an eagerly-awaited bid round by the end of this month, its first since 2008 (MEES, 17 December 2007), NOC chief Farhat Bengdara announced on 3 December during the 5th Libya Energy Week in Cairo.
“With the support of the Government of National Unity, and after approving our strategy and plan for the bid round, we will announce it before the end of the year,” Mr Bengdara said, adding that the “first roadshow” will take place on 15 January in Tripoli. (CONTINUED - 857 WORDS)
