Mohamed Aoun has officially resumed his duties as Libya’s oil minister after a two-month suspension was lifted, the ministry announced on 28 May.
The Administrative Control Authority (ACA), which had suspended Mr Aoun on 25 March “pending investigation” into unspecified violations (MEES, 5 April), concluded its investigation and lifted the temporary suspension on 12 May, the ministry said, without making any references to the conclusions of the probe.
