Italy’s Eni and Algerian state energy giants Sonatrach and Sonelgaz on 31 July signed an MoU for a planned power connection between the two countries.
The MoU looks “to define the general framework” for a feasibility study on a submarine cable “to join the Algerian and Italian power networks with a view to exchanges, or supplying the Italian and European markets with electricity” from Algeria. (CONTINUED - 118 WORDS)
