Fujairah’s Fort Energy refinery is readying to restart, with sources confirming that it recently received its first cargo of crude oil feedstock in a number of months. A cargo of Nile Blend crude oil from Sudan’s Bashayer terminal was delivered to Fujairah on 12 August, MEES understands.
The cargo was delivered by Adnoc Global Trading (AGT: Adnoc 65%, Eni 20%, OMV 15%). AGT was established in 2020 and its primary responsibilities are to source third party crude oil feedstock for Abu Dhabi’s 837,000 b/d Ruwais refining complex and trading refined products produced there.
