Egypt Blackouts End On Record Gas & Fuel Oil Imports, Renewables Output

*The import of bumper volumes of LNG, record piped Israeli gas, record volumes of fuel oil and record renewables output appears to have enabled Egypt to put an end to the persistent rolling blackouts, typically of two hours per day, which have crippled the country for almost a year.

*Both PM Mostafa Madbouly and oil minister Karim Badawi forecast that the third week of July would see the end of these blackouts, and while that target was missed, according to MEES sources in Egypt they have now gradually stopped. (CONTINUED - 1091 WORDS)
