*China’s crude imports from each of the country’s habitual top three suppliers fell sharply in July as overall crude imports and refinery runs fell to their lowest respective levels since 2022 – 10.00mn b/d and 13.95mn b/d (MEES, 16 August).
*Russia retained top supplier spot, as it has for each of the past 14 months, but at 1.76mn b/d volumes were the lowest since Saudi Arabia was last top in April 2023.
