Egyptian officials remain bullish that 2025 will see a halt in the collapse in Egypt’s gas output which fell by 16% or almost 1bn cfd to an eight-year low 4.87bn cfd for 2024. The offshore Mediterranean is both the largest contributor to overall output, with 3.54bn cfd, 73% of the total, and to the collapse, with output down a stonking 773mn cfd for 2024 (MEES, 21 February).
