Kuwait’s state petroleum firm KPC is preparing to launch its new Dubai-headquartered trading firm, with Abdullatif Almukhaizeem confirmed as CEO. Mr Almukhaizeem until last month managed KPC’s London office with previous stints in Beijing and Singapore. Mr Almukhaizeem’s career at KPC began in 1998 with commercial roles covering products sales.

The new unit was established in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) last May, listing KPC’s Managing Director of International Marketing Sheikh Khaled Al Sabah, Legal Affairs Manager Hessah al-Twaijri and Mudhi al-Shammiri as its directors.
