Syria’s Banias port has received LPG cargoes for the first time since the ouster of former President Bashar al-Assad. A 4,700-ton cargo arrived on 1 February from Turkey’s Dortyol following two previous 1,500-ton cargoes on 12 January from Georgia’s Kulevi terminal according to data intelligence firm Kpler. Syria also appears to be receiving 500 t/d of LPG from Jordan via truck, according to 30 January comments by JoPetrol CEO Hasan Alheyari to his country’s parliamentarians. (CONTINUED - 250 WORDS)
