Mike Wirth, CEO of US major Chevron, confirmed on his firm’s 4Q 2024 earnings call on 31 January that capacity expansion at both of Israel’s key gas fields is on track for end-2025 start up.

The 13.7tcf Tamar field is being expanded from 1.1bn cfd to 1.6bn cfd, and 22.3tcf Leviathan from 1.2bn cfd to 1.4bn cfd (MEES, 29 November 2024). Both expansions “will come on towards the end of this year and be ramping into ’26 and beyond,” Mr Wirth says. (CONTINUED - 765 WORDS)
