The A1-108/4 exploration well spudded on 29 November is the first well of a drilling program which will continue into 2013. This “marks another important step in resuming all of Eni’s exploration and production activities in Libya,” the company says.
The well on Area 108, Block 4, in the far southeast of the Sirte Basin 300km southeast of Benghazi is targeting a “new geological play” at a depth of 13,600ft and is set to reach a total depth of 14,500ft. (CONTINUED - 952 WORDS)
