Year-on-year inflation in Sudan increased to 46.5% in November from 45.3% the month before, driven largely by rising food prices, Sudan’s Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) revealed on 9 December.
Prices have skyrocketed in Sudan since the South seceded last year, taking with it around three-quarters of the former Sudan’s near 500,000 b/d oil production and revenues.
