Lebanon’s “caretaker” Energy Minister Gebran Bassil has announced a third delay to the deadline for firms to submit their bid proposals in the country’s first ever bid round which offers highly prospective offshore blocks.
The delay is an inevitable result of Lebanon’s continued political failures, despite Mr Basil’s repeated assurances to pre-qualified companies that the 10 January deadline remained in force. (CONTINUED - 348 WORDS)
