Abu Dhabi has completed financing for the last gas-fired power and water project under its current capacity expansion program. Following the Mirfa independent water and power project (IWPP), Abu Dhabi’s next major increment will be four 1.4GW nuclear plants at Barakah, due online in 2017-20.
