Turkey is backing gas-fired and renewables power projects to satisfy near-term demand growth, but has ambitious nuclear and coal plans for the longer run.
Turkish power generating capacity amounts to 67.6GW, with projects either under development or planned due to raise this to 72.3GW by the end of 2017.
