Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) and Saudi Aramco have requested proposals for two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract packages for a long-planned 115km pipeline to take crude oil from Aramco’s Abqaiq processing plant to Bapco’s Sitra refinery.
The packages will cover construction of the pipeline in two sections: a 42km offshore section and a 73km onshore section. Prequalification of bidders is scheduled for the second quarter of 2015. (CONTINUED - 257 WORDS)
