Sinopec Sabic Tianjin Petrochemical Company (SSTPC), a 50:50 JV grouping Sabic and Chinese state petroleum giant Sinopec, has awarded a $1.7bn engineering, procurement and construction contract for a polycarbonate plant to the latter’s subsidiary Sinopec Engineering.
