Oman’s Ministry of Oil and Gas (MOG) is offering four exploration blocks in north-central Oman in a tender slated for 20 September launch. Blocks 47, 51, and 65 are considered prospective for both oil and gas, and Block 43b for gas (see map).
This comes after last year’s flopped four-block offering, which has resulted in just one exploration deal, signed in May this year, with Italy’s Eni (in partnership with state Oman Oil Company) for Block 52. (CONTINUED - 482 WORDS)
