Emboldened by the success of its debut licensing round launched in April, Adnoc is considering issuing more exploration blocks in 2019.
Adnoc offered six blocks – four onshore and two offshore – in April and says that it has received multiple bids for all of them (MEES, 16 November and MEES, 13 April). Adnoc upstream chief Abdulmunim al-Kindy told the annual Adipec conference in Abu Dhabi on 13 November that “hopefully next year we will follow up with five or six blocks, completing the whole area.” (CONTINUED - 408 WORDS)
