Israel’s leading oil and gas company, Delek, says it plans to send gas to Egypt by the end of this quarter.
Delek and habitual Israeli partner US based Noble Energy, finalized a deal last February to supply a private Egyptian firm Dolphinus with up to 700mn cfd of gas (MEES, 23 February 2018). The deal envisages interruptible volumes up to 350mn cfd from the two firms’ 11tcf Tamar field, and 350mn cfd firm volumes from the 22tcf Leviathan field which is due to start up in Q4 this year.
