Saudi polypropylene producer Advanced Petrochemical on 26 June announced via the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) plans for three Saudi joint venture petchems projects with Korea’s SK Gas, of which at least two will be in the petchems hub at Jubail on the Gulf coast (see map, MEES, 28 June).
While Advanced is a relatively small player in Saudi petchems, it is expanding its operations through a JV with SK Gas, Korea’s leading LPG provider with a growing presence in propane-based petrochemicals. (CONTINUED - 368 WORDS)
