Libya’s Ras Lanuf Oil & Gas Processing Company (Rasco) said on 5 August it had received a first shipment of 4,000 tons of ethylene gas feedstock for the restart of its polyethylene plant. At the time Rasco said it planned production “within the next few days.”
National Oil Company (NOC) chairman Mustafa Sanalla told MEES in June that its subsidiary Rasco also plans to restart the naphtha cracker at the petrochemical complex which would produce feedstock for the polyethylene plant (MEES, 5 July). (CONTINUED - 136 WORDS)
