Texas-based Noble Energy says its 22tcf Leviathan project offshore Israel is almost 90% complete and is on course for first gas in Q4 this year. Production decks left Texas last month on their way to Israel where the production legs, or jacket was installed in February, 10km offshore Dor (MEES, 1 February).
“We are expecting gross production to average about 800mn cfd [in 2020]. Below that average in the first half of the year and closer to 1bn cfd at the end of 2020,” Brent Smolik, Noble’s President and COO told investors during the firm’s Q2 conference call on 2 August. (CONTINUED - 345 WORDS)
