Maintenance work at Tunisia’s offshore Hasdrubal gas field in November saw the country’s overall gas output plummet to 133mn cfd for the month – the lowest MEES has on record dating back to January 2010.
The 27 October-25 November halt in production at the Shell-operated field caused output to drop to just 7mn cfd for November, down by 86% on Hasdrubal’s 50mn cfd average production for the year up to the shut-down. When it first came online in 2010, the now-declining field helped Tunisia reach a record 361mn cfd production. It hit peak production of 127mn cfd in January 2013. (CONTINUED - 314 WORDS)
