US contractor KBR was this week awarded a substantial Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services contract by Abu Dhabi state energy giant Adnoc for the Ghasha Concession. Adnoc is looking for the ultra-sour gas concession to provide more than 1.5bn cfd of sour gas in addition to 120,000 b/d of crude oil and condensate.
Under the contract, KBR will be responsible for “managing the successful Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors for Packages A & B of the Dalma Gas Development Project, Packages 1-5 of the Hail & Ghasha Development Project, Hail & Ghasha Islands Project as well as the Deep Gas Project.
