Fujairah’s Ecomar Energy Solutions is looking to double crude distillation capacity and add upgrading capacity at a 15,000 b/d modular refinery at the Middle East’s main bunkering port, having only begun commercial operations in March.
Ecomar trading director Leigh Shaddick tells MEES that while the plant became fully operational “three months ago” the company is already planning to expand crude distillation capacity to 30,000 b/d. “The units for the expansion are on-site already,” he says. (CONTINUED - 628 WORDS)
