Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (Dewa) announced on 2 June it has re-tendered its 560,000 m3/d (120mn g/d) Hassyan reverse osmosis (RO) desalination plant, despite receiving a world record low water tariff bid in late February.
Dewa has set a 3 August deadline for new bids for the independent water producer (IWP) project. The utility is sticking to its August 2023 deadline for commissioning (MEES, 6 March). (CONTINUED - 266 WORDS)
