Air Products and JV partner Acwa Power have now launched $7bn financing for the $11.5bn 4GW integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) power plant and associated air separation unit (ASU) at Jazan in Saudi Arabia, the former’s CEO Seifi Ghasemi told his firm’s 23 July earnings call.
Construction on the facilities, and on the integrated 400,000 b/d Jazan refinery near to the Yemen border in Saudi Arabia’s remote southwest, is apparently complete. (CONTINUED - 604 WORDS)
