Libya’s offshore has been the source of much-needed stability in a country wracked by years of conflict. Eni and NOC managed to complete their 400mn cfd Bahr Essalam Phase-2 project last year, bumping capacity to 1.1bn cfd. And with an ongoing nationwide oil blockade (MEES, 17 July), the offshore is providing the bulk of Libya’s sub-100,000 b/d oil output.
