MEES number-crunching of IOC filings for 1H 2020 shows that of six companies reporting ‘receivables’ figures – the sums owed for oil and gas delivered to Egyptian state firm EGPC – three are up on end-2019 and three down.
Overall, their total of $396mn is down 9% on the end 2019 figure of $434mn, which in turn was fractionally lower than a year earlier (see table). Egypt’s oil ministry says its total receivables figure was $850mn at mid-2020 down from $900mn a year earlier . (CONTINUED - 601 WORDS)
