If MEES had a word of the year, then for 2021 it would be ‘hydrogen’. From just three stories mentioning hydrogen in 2018, the number leapt to 24 in 2020 before tripling to 74 for the first 50 issues of 2021. ‘Green Hydrogen’, a term never used before 2020, gets 46 hits.
