Algeria’s 450mn cfd (4.5 bcm/y)-capacity Touat gas project remains offline, UK-based operator Neptune Energy confirms in its Q4 results on 11 March, a continuation of “technical issues” that have plagued the project since August (MEES, 20 November 2020).
“The performance of the processing plant has been variable. Following remedial shutdowns in the third quarter, technical issues necessitated a longer-term shutdown of the facility. Remedial work has progressed well and the plant is expected back online by the end of the first quarter of 2021,” Neptune says. (CONTINUED - 305 WORDS)
