UAE firm Dana Gas said in its Q1 results that it plans to drill an exploration well on Egypt’s offshore North El Arish block “as soon as possible” (MEES, 14 May). Apparently ‘possible’ will be some time off.
Dana has enlisted the help of the UK’s Envoi in a bid to farm out a stake, potentially a majority stake, in the block that adjoins Egypt’s maritime border with Gaza. (CONTINUED - 361 WORDS)
