Egypt’s plans for a $7.5bn petchems hub in the Suez Canal Economic Zone at Ain Sukhna are slowly firming up.
US engineering firm Bechtel on 11 July signed up to conduct basic engineering and design work for the planned complex as well as a separate deal to cooperate with Egyptian state engineering firms Petrojet and Enppi at the design phase with a view to joint project execution.
