Adnoc has signed a joint study agreement with three Japanese entities to “explore the commercial potential of producing and transporting clean ammonia to Japan.” The agreement was signed with upstream firm Inpex, power generator Jera and state-owned Japan Oil Gas and Metals National Corporation (Jogmec).
The UAE and Japan previously struck an agreement in January “to cooperate on fuel ammonia and carbon recycling technologies” (MEES, 22 January). (CONTINUED - 730 WORDS)
