This week’s Opec+ meeting was a brief affair as the 1 September virtual gathering rubber stamped a planned 400,000 b/d output increase for October.
This follows an 18 July agreement which envisages monthly output hikes of 400,000 b/d – of which 254,000 b/d is accounted for by the 13 Opec members – for each of the last five months of 2021 (see table). (CONTINUED - 835 WORDS)
