Kuwait state-firm Kipic announced this week that it is preparing to commission the giant 615,000 b/d Al Zour refinery. Kipic, which also operates a 22mn t/y capacity LNG import terminal at Al Zour, says a 49,000-ton cargo of naphtha had been delivered for use in commissioning what will be the Middle East’s largest refinery.
